Cheap accomodation. Good roomstandard for the prize. Close to metrostation.
Ants in the room, and bit of a dodgy neighborhood. Staff did not speak english, which made it a bit hard to communicate.

Probably the best value for money during my 3-week travels through Brazil. If you are travelling though the country on a tight budget, you will probably frequently encounter similar rooms, but for 2 to 3 times the price as Hotel Natal. Room was basic but functional and clean. Hotel is in a rough neighbourhood, but at least that has the advantage of being close to cheap places to eat.
Because of how this hotel is constructed (all room and bathroom windows open out onto a central air shaft running vertically through the hotel), we experienced lots of noise. You will constantly hear other people using the toilet, babies crying from bedrooms, etc. Perhaps because of the low price, this hotel attracts very noisy visitors: loud music playing at 4am, people slamming doors throughout the night. I sleep with earplugs in, and I still was constantly woken up throughout the night. Poor breakfast, but the coffee was very good and the juice was fresh.

The breakfast was decent
I booked a double room and they gave us a twin with no explanation. The beds were very uncomfortable. Hotel was loud and a bit of a dodgy area at night time.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
If you don't know Sao Paulo, don't stay here. it's not a safe feeling street by any stretch of the imagination. Go for the Paulista area, or at least a block or two on the other side of the park from this hotel.

Photos of the hotel on Booked.net are fake. I cant call "Natal" as a hotel its more like "Hostel" even some hostel better than Natal. Natal's location is good (near to the republis park) but because it locates at a small street, at night it may get really dangerous. There is a pub near to the hotel. So u cant sleep at night because of the music and ppls loud voices. There are alcoholics and drug users on the street. By tge way when you book the hotel from Booked.net hotel staff will have your credit card information. This is also not a safe thing!. If they want they can use your credit card for online shoppings!!!

The night front desk clerk. He tried. Room was clean withthe exception of stains on the upper sheet and the blankets.
The area at night is very dangerous. Loads of junkies, prostitution, and bad people waiting for their opportunity. Not a good idea to walk outside. The small rooms become your cell. Flood, well there are pizza and burgers to be ordered for a out 10 us. It has no heat. The blankets did not feel clean and are the size of lap blankets. In winter I was very cold. First room smelt like an old bar, filled with cigarette smoke. The window also did not have a latch to close. So anyone from an adjoining window well could come in the room. Bring ear plugs. Sounds of sex, was it a man or woman, blaring tv down the hall, cardboard thin doors andasthat the scream of real fear osomething else. Most of the time wifi did not work. I leftie next morning.
